Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent to the relevant host. localStorage and sessionStorage can remember preferences and identifiers in the browser. Pixels, tags and embedded content can send technical information to service providers. The categories below describe storage that may be used depending on the site features and providers; exact names and lifetimes may vary by configuration.
Essential functions, preferences and optional services
Essential storage supports security and settings. A manually chosen theme is a separate preference. Optional analytics, including Google Analytics and Yandex Metrika, helps measure visits and improve content. Advertising services may measure ads, control how often they appear and support personalization. External widgets or embedded media may use their own identifiers. Providers describe their handling of information in their privacy policies: Google and Yandex.
Your two choices
Allow keeps optional analytics, advertising and embedded services enabled and saves your decision. Necessary Only disables further optional-service activity and removes accessible storage belonging to integrated services where supported. Essential site functions and manually requested preferences remain available. Without a saved decision, optional services are enabled by default; this is an opt-out state, not an affirmative consent record. You can reopen settings from the footer at any time. Your choice controls this site and does not replace privacy settings on other websites or in your Google or Yandex account.
Duration and changes
An explicit choice is stored for 180 days from your click and applies across the language versions on this host. Ordinary visits do not renew it. The record contains your decision, dates and notice/service versions, without a visitor identifier. A readable Necessary Only record continues to block optional activity after changes to the notice or providers. If the browser deletes that record, a later visit has no saved choice. An expired or changed Allow record shows the notice again; the site does not invent a renewed decision.
Storage failures and withdrawal
An unreadable or malformed choice blocks optional services temporarily. If saving fails, the page displays that the choice applies only there and tries a same-origin server save; it does not reload into the default state after a failed refusal. Necessary Only remains effective on that page, but another page may not remember it. Browser storage restrictions can prevent persistence. Footer Cookie Settings reopens the controls. On this page the same two actions also work without JavaScript through a protected POST form. Choices apply to future activity; they cannot recall information already received by a provider.
Other controls
Use the Appearance section on this Cookie Policy page to restore the device theme, or clear site data in your browser. Theme memory is a manually requested preference, separate from optional analytics and advertising. Clearing all site data also removes your cookie decision. WordPress administration cookies relate to signed-in editors. Essential delivery, protection and report handling remain available with Necessary Only.
